Secret Tips & Tricks for quick typing in Stata.
Most of the variables in real-world are long name, when we want to type the variables in Stata we need to type the lead letter and press the TAB key on the keyboard, the list of variables start with that letter will appear for selection.

Most of the variables in real-world are long name, when we want to type the variables in Stata we need to type the lead letter and press the TAB key on the keyboard, the list of variables start with that letter will appear for selection.
For example, we want to type the variable "make", we just type the letter "m" in the command window then press the TAB key on the keyboard we will see the list of variables prompt like "make" and "mpg". If the selected variable is the right variable you can press the ENTER key or TAB key to select the target variable.
